Beths Kart Club is a member of NatSKA, The National Association for School and Youth Group Karting

There are at present about 25 school teams who compete at race meetings across the UK.

The Beths team consists of pupils aged from 11 to 18 of mixed racing abilities

( both novice and full licensed ) driving karts in different  classes.

 

The club generally meets once a week, where you get a unique mix of year 7 's right up to year 13 's all working together as a team.

Joining the club will get you involved in many different skills including mechanics, metalworking,

welding, brazing, as well as  sharing ideas and knowledge to help prepare and maintain the karts ready for practise and race meetings.

In 2009 there were 13 race meetings that you could attend including a 3 day meeting at Buckmore park for the National Sprint Championships in July.

Most Club members start racing using the Club Karts and can continue with them all through the classes.

Some eventually buy their own Karts to race.
